Kawi Industries Ltd was incorporated in August 2023 as a green energy company with its operational offices in Butula, Busia (Kenya). Having initially started off as a family-owned briquettes production and distribution plant in April 2017 with a production plant in Kiserian town (Kajiado) our eyes were set on diversification and scaling up of operations in the clean energy sector. The main objective of was to attain industry leadership in the production and marketing of fuel briquettes in the period 2017 – 2022. Trading under the brand name of #EcoBriqs, the plant is located in Kiserian town – considered as part of the larger Nairobi metropolis. Kawi Industries provides clean and affordable energy to households and institutions in Kenya through the production, distribution and selling of fuel briquettes to consumers who hitherto were using solid fuels like charcoal, firewood, manure, crop residues and/or paraffin stoves.
